Today is the first day of Diwali, The Festival of Lights

Today is the first day of the festival of lights, which coincides with the new moon. It's also the day I celebrate the magnificent gift of being born. I can't think of a more auspicious combination of events.

Thank you for my life. I love it fiercely and live it with great delight. I'm having a wonderful time---even my problems are mostly good problems to have.

Please give me more of all the things I enjoy most in the coming year: people to love who will love me and teach me well, good company, personal growth, play, pleasure, new opportunities for happiness and more wisdom! Also, I want a better balance between my work and play lives: I'd like to spend just as much time doing cool things (exploring, wandering around new places, learning stuff) as I do working. Some of those cool things can be through work as well. Thank you.
