Reviewing Copyedited Book Chapters
May. 17th, 2010 03:11 pmToday is a study in slowly calming anxiety. I've been reviewing copy edited chapters since this morning and I'm just now starting to relax enough to see what my (wonderful) copy editor is actually saying. For most of the week, I've read her comments as variants of "Can you change this extensively right now?" when she is saying nothing of the sort.
The changes are minor, yet I'm pitching fits. Thank the gods that I'm not having to integrate comprehensive changes into my text so far.
I really, really want to get this done and get on to a paper that just needs a little more analysis and a modest amount of concentrated writing.
