Hi, I'm back

I'm back from the holidays. I've missed a great deal: key life events, important birthdays and exciting adventures. Please know that you are loved and I will slowly catch up on what I've missed.

Here, new developments:

1. I am unemployed for at least the next month, and ecstatic about it. I'm retooling my life with real gusto.

2. My Fellowship ended well: my last official day was Friday, and on Monday morning my first article was accepted for publication. Additionally, the book is coming out this fall.

3. I'm creating my new schedule, which focuses on revising the book to meet the new publisher's/reviewer's requests over the next six months. It also revolves around filling my days with what I need to stay happy and balanced.

I'm still doing readings, but I've decided to do them as exchanges now (except for the lovely lady_d, to whom I have dedicated an upcoming reading).

When you ask me for a reading, I'll do it if I have the energy and time to spare AND you can offer me one of my fave ways of getting that energy back.

These include, but are not limited to:

Massage (ALWAYS accepted)

Energy work (Yup. Another no-brainer)

Money (Paying bills and saving money is GOOD)

Help (I always need help with SOMETHING) and, if I am hungry,

Sushi (extra points for spicy tuna rolls).

I also reserve the right to say "No---I need some R&R right now," "Sorry, I'm taking care of something else right now," or "Yes, but only if you can give me back _____, which would make my life alot better at the moment. Otherwise, I'm going to recharge my batteries instead."

Happy sigh. Gonna let my friends take care of me this year.
