Triumph and Accountability
Nov. 15th, 2007 10:21 amYesterday: Failure, failure, failure. Utterly derailed on book and exercise.
But why should yesterday's utter failure interfere with today's success?
Exercise: Chest, shoulders +abs; 45:00 cardio on the elliptical
What I learned from yesterday's failure that helped ahape today's success:
Reminder: You will not succeed every day. This is not the end of the world.
Reminder: The biggest gains often come after significant set backs.
Reminder: Exercise *first*, *then* hop on the computer.
And finally: After you fail to meet a goal for a few consecutive days, lower the bar.
Writing: 2 hours today, then time with parents.
