Date: 2005-08-02 04:10 pm (UTC)It's somewhat humbling to admit how long it took me to get that and be ready to live it -- not necessarily in a peace context, but in an everything context. I'd been a witch for years (not to mention my BSW), yet I wasn't able to see how this simple concept affected my life every day.
(Sure, I still get angry/pissy at times -- but I don't dwell on it. I'm careful to let it go, before it gains too much power.)
Right now I'm wishing I could see a way -- other than explaining it, and how it's affecting my life -- to help someone very close to me see, accept and embrace this for herself. I've done that twice, though, apparently to no avail, and I know that this is something she needs to come to herself. It is very, very frustrating, though.
