Clover Coven: A new group has been born
Jun. 2nd, 2005 07:12 amI would like to announce the birth of Clover Coven.
Former members of Willow Bough and Balefire and concurrent members of Braided Stream have come together to create a new group in New Jersey.
Our ministry and mission will include the following:
* Exploring ways in which to create a more sustainable New Jersey Blue Star community
* Focusing on the generation of new local models for 2nd and 3rd that do not lead to burn out and overcommittment among clergy, and instead remain compatible with family and household harmony
*Regeneration and new growth in the Blue Star community
*Bringing the natural world, as well as the physical and sensual world, back into our religious practices
*Promoting gender balance in New Jersey groves and covens and working with polarity within Clover coven itself
*Inviting men into the New Jersey Blue Star community, both in the laity and the clergy, and creating an environment that supports and appreciates them
At this time, we see ourselves evolving into a local coven that will welcome new members---from pre-Dedicants to 3rd Degrees. We envision both an inner and outer court, and we especially hope to welcome those who feel drawn to our mission, those who wish to incorporate outdoor exploration and practices into their worship, those who want to actively venerate nature, those who want to generate new models for community action and participation that involve sustainable practices, those who seek renewal, those who are interested in becoming Priests and those who enjoy and wish to explore group and individual energy work.
Blessed Be.

Focusing on the generation of new local models for 2nd and 3rd that do not lead to burn out and overcommittment among clergy, and instead remain compatible with family and household harmony
Definitely something most people overlook.
