Passport frenzy

Yesterday I had a hundred important things to do, and in the midst of them all I got a strong urge to renew my passport. I discovered that it had lapsed in January when I grabbed it a few weeks ago in order to use it as a model for a faux, stick-on passport on my vision board.

The form has been filled out ever since, waiting for me to act on it. Why yesterday? I had so much to do! I did it---it required two trips to *two* post offices---but I didn't understand why. My travel plans seem to have shifted, I don't have any upcoming trips and I don't understand why I had to do it yesterday and not Monday, or why I had to overnight it---which I did, reluctantly, after my inner sense pitched a fit at the priority mail option. Whatever!

Finally, I decided that if nothing else, it would prove to be an interesting test for that pesky inner sense.

We'll see.
