I don't think I would be able to understand the answer. I think I'd only be able able to perceive it through filters and metaphors.
While this is an oft-asked question, much like, "Are the Gods real?" I don't think human brains (or bodyminds or whatever---choose your term) are sufficiently sophisticated to grasp the "real and true" answer.
And I have to ask myself, "What is real, anyway?" Is it what our senses tell us? Our senses are very limited. They miss a lot.
Because I believe there is a limit to what I am able to grasp in this current form, I am less interested in this question than I am in other questions with answers I can grasp.
Questions that interest me more:
"What possibilities are open to me and others during this lifetime, and how can I/we make the best choices amongst them?"
"Are the Gods useful? If so, how?"
"How can this life/bodymind be harnessed for the greatest possible joy and learning for all?"
