Life of Joy

I met a friend of a friend last week who said that every time she wanted to buy a house, it took her THREE YEARS to find the right one. THREE YEARS. That just amazes me. S and I were very clear about what we wanted in a house before we started looking -- what we absolutely needed, did not want, and could tolerate -- so when we saw the house we now live in, we knew that it was the right house. House-hunting took three months, and we moved in three months later. :-D
