Working antenna
Jul. 15th, 2011 01:06 pmOne of the things I love about being a strong transmitter and receiver is that it's easy to connect with the people on my wavelength. It's easy to hear them, and easy to reach out. Most of the time, when I reach for the phone to contact Michael, it rings in my hand before I've finished dialing. And when I need to talk to Cat, she will call within minutes.
We often joke about it, but it is so common in my life that I almost take it for granted. Now Chaya has moved into my wavelength with great ease. I don't know why I'm surprised.
The more I relax, the easier it is to hear the people I love, and the faster the connection takes place. I've also noticed that the more I occupy my mind with whatever's on the surface, the more broadly I can hear: the woman at the sushi counter, the coworker who wants my attention, the random person who has an unexpected gift. I think it's because my conscious mind offers less resistance when it's busy doing other things.
It's becoming less and less difficult for me to live this way. Interesting.
