'Re-Do' Bonanza
Jan. 15th, 2009 09:17 amI seem to have been operating under the illusion that I could plunge straight into book revisions and a new career path without attending to and re-creating the faulty foundations of my day-to-day life.
Ha. Ha.
But Mercury retrogrades and Virgo moons are good for helping one to reflect deeply on what is important while taking steps to correct what needs fixing. Long, deep conversations and organization sessions with friends don't hurt either. Neither do reminders that we are mortal.
My reading and analysis of Michele B.'s book is now interspersed with identifying and correcting things that need attention, reflection and rebalancing:
I've re-joined Weight Watchers to add accountability to my eating and I've put weights back into my routine. I've also begun studying for the ACE personal trainer exam.
My Craft supplies, which were in utter disarray, have now been reviewed, culled and reorganized to fit the space available. I can find what I need to hold Circle, teach or do Craft projects again.
My pantry has been reviewed, culled and reorganized to fit the space available, and it now supports cooking with whole grains, use of my long-term staples and healthy, frugal winter cooking.
My vitamin cabinet has been reviewed, culled and reorganized to fit the space available. The last holdouts from 2004 and before are gone. I kept only what we use, and I can see it and reach it all quickly.
Next: Clothes and papers/files, then clearing, re-charging and re-placing of feng shui amplifiers and cures.
This all needs to be done by January 26th, Chinese New Year and the date of a solar eclipse in Aquarius.
