Triumph and Accountability

So, today was my fifth day in a row exercising. The new am routine I planned with Michael worked well. Since I've started exercising with the SAD light, my SAD symptoms have been dropping away quickly. I'm not used to this. I keep expecting to struggle more than I do each evening. So far, so good. The symptoms get worse as the winter deepens, but so far, my strategies are working unexpectedly well.
What works:
Getting up immediately at 6 am.
Putting weights before cardio
Using the iPod to get my motivation going and focusing on the music and the workout
Using the light during both the warm up and cardio sessions
Doing 1 bodypart + abs; another bodypart is a plus but is not required
Getting weights and cardio in before dropping Trent off for school
Letting Michael feed Trent breakfast while I finish up my cardio session
Doing a short cardio session with the light after work to keep me awake at night
Accountability:
I commit to 3 hours of work on my history chapter today, along with my other work tasks.
