One thing I like: I am starting to trust the people around me enough to ask questions: "what does this mean? Can you show me?". And mostly, they are answering me without making me feel stupid. It feels really good to stop worrying about how I come across.

By a curious co-incidence, I'm trying to learn how to answer people's questions without making them feel stupid.

I don't care if I look stupid. My ego is big enough to take a few hits. Well, maybe one hit. Or half a hit.

Brina: Wise people know what they don't know and are humble (and smart) enough to ask for more information. :-)

Crytolos: I "answer people's questions" for a living (I'm a reference librarian). If anyone I'm helping says, "Wow, now I feel stupid!", I reassure them by pointing out how crazy the world of information is and how hard it can sometimes be to get the answer you need.

Good to hear.
